Partnerships and commissions

Who pays us, for what, and what it changes for you.

In short

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the platform pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

Ad — affiliate link. We are paid a commission if you sign up. It costs you nothing extra.

How to spot one

Every affiliate link in a lesson carries a mark immediately after it:

Deribitad

The mark is applied automatically rather than by hand, so an unmarked affiliate link cannot exist on this site. The links also carry a rel="sponsored" attribute.

Who we partner with

Deribitderibit.com

Options and futures exchange. Used throughout the course as the options example.

Where in the course: Modules 5, 6, 7

Options are a complex instrument. The course teaches them as a hedging tool, not as speculation.

Jupiterjup.ag

Solana DEX aggregator and lending platform (Jupiter Lend).

Where in the course: Modules 1, 3

Jupiter Lend uses rehypothecation — this is taught explicitly in lesson 3-6.

Revolutrevolut.com

A bank with built-in crypto trading and a separate Revolut X exchange.

Where in the course: Module 1

The course states plainly that buying small amounts in the Revolut app is expensive. The partnership does not change that.

Editorial policy

  • The order of platforms in comparisons is editorial — it does not depend on who pays a commission. Deribit and Jupiter appear in the course because they are used in the strategy being taught, not the other way round.
  • Criticism stays criticism. The course says plainly that buying small amounts in the Revolut app is expensive, and that Jupiter Lend uses rehypothecation. A partnership does not soften those passages.
  • We take no money from token issuers and we do not promote individual crypto-assets.
  • If you would rather not use our link, type the platform address into your browser by hand. The content does not change either way.

Legal basis

This disclosure is provided under the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC (Annex I point 11 — the prohibition on hidden advertising) and Lithuanian advertising law. DeFi Risk OS is not a licensed crypto-asset service provider and does not give investment advice.

Free material is easy to put off

Something practice teaches: when you paid nothing to learn, it is easy to postpone learning indefinitely. If these lessons actually gave you something — saved you a mistake, or explained what nobody else did — you can pay whatever you think they were worth.

This is not a price, a subscription, or a fee for access. The amount is yours to choose, and paying nothing is entirely fine.

Solana address

CUj6wYQLSBxidzm7Lqtkxbw2d8Sv2H2tbJELyAjR756M

Solana network only

Send SOL or SPL tokens (e.g. USDC) only on the Solana network. Sending from an exchange over a different network loses the funds permanently — nobody can recover them.

What you get for it

Nothing extra, and that is deliberate. Every lesson, all three difficulty levels and every calculator stay free and sign-up-free, with or without a donation. There is no gated section, no share of profits, no future token and no claim on anything.

Where the money goes

A donation becomes my own money. I use it to keep the site running and to fund a public demonstration position on a lending protocol — real money, so the lessons have something to show instead of only theory. I publish the results, losses included, publicly and free for everyone. It is my position and my risk, not a pooled fund.
